Autism - Transitioning to Adulthood
Educational Event
Dylan's House pulled off an amazing educational event during Autism Awareness Month in April, called 'Autism: Transitioning to Adulthood,' at The Courtyard Marriott in Canfield! This event was all about empowering families and individuals with autism as they navigate the journey into adulthood. With insightful sessions, expert speakers, and engaging discussions, it was an absolute blast! We created a supportive and informative space where everyone could learn, share, and grow together. It was a fantastic way to raise awareness and show our support for the autism community. Here's to many more inspiring events like this in the future!
Fiesta for the Future
Dylan’s House hosted a fundraising event at Firefly Farms on Thursday, October 10 to
announce key partnerships as well as raising money toward their dream of building housing to support those diagnosed with autism. The event raised over $14,000 and the homes will be constructed in Boardman and Struthers. Struthers mayor, Catherine Cercone Miller, made a formal announcement about their donation of land for the construction of the house in Struthers. That project will be managed by Dawn Ochman, of Dawn Incorporated. The second home will be built in Boardman on land generosity donated by Sam and Donna Boak. Trisha Howe, Executive Director of HBA announced that the house in Boardman will be located on South Avenue and will be co-managed by Alexander Construction and Custom Designed Homes by Mark Ramunno.

Fundraising for the Autism Community
Thank you for joining us on April 13th at Dylan's House's third annual fundraising event at Penguin City featuring RDNA! It was an incredible day filled with amazing music, delicious food, and great company. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to raise over $100,000! Your contributions will make a meaningful impact on our mission to empower and enrich the lives of individuals on the Autism spectrum from adolescence through adulthood by providing quality homes and support for caregivers. The Summer Caregiver Grant Presentation
The Summer Caregiver Grant presentation was held the evening of July 17 at Elton Beard Cabin in Boardman Park. Dylan's House was honored to give 10 $500 grants to beyond deserving individuals who care for the autism community in Mahoning Valley so fearlessly.
